In most municipalities, yes, if the deck is over 60cm off the ground or attached to the house. We handle the permit application.
Basic 12x16 platform deck: 3–5 days. Multi-level with railings and stairs: 8–14 days.
Piles for anything on soft or high-water-table sites. Concrete piers work well on stable ground. We'll assess before quoting.
