Cheap siding installs skip the rain screen and the flashing details. It looks fine for two years, then rot starts behind the wall where nobody sees it. Doing this right the first time is dramatically cheaper than tearing back into a wall five years later.

Vinyl: 30–40 years. Aluminum: 40+. Fibre-cement: 50+. Cedar: 20–30 with proper maintenance. All figures assume proper installation with rain-screen.
Never. We tear off, inspect the sheathing, correct any moisture damage, and start clean. Siding over siding traps moisture.
If the wall is opened up during other work, yes. For pure siding replacement we can add exterior rigid insulation as a separate scope.
Effectively unlimited on vinyl and aluminum. We'll bring physical samples to your estimate — colours look different in Ontario light than in a showroom.
