Roofing · North Bay & Corbeil

A roof built for a Northern winter.

Full replacements, storm repairs, and inspections across North Bay, Corbeil, Powassan and the Near North.

Overview

Built for the way we live up here.

A roof is the single most punishing part of a home in Northern Ontario. Heavy snow load, freeze-thaw cycles, ice damming, and 30-degree summer swings all conspire against it. We build roofs designed for exactly that.

A tired roof doesn't fail on a sunny day — it fails during a February thaw or an August storm. Waiting until you see a stain on the ceiling means dealing with insulation, drywall, and mold on top of the roof itself. A written inspection every 5–7 years is the cheapest insurance you'll ever buy.

  • Complete tear-off and re-decking when the sheathing is compromised
  • Ice-and-water shield along every eave and valley — non-negotiable in this climate
  • 30-year architectural shingles or standing-seam steel
  • Ridge venting to eliminate ice damming
  • Full flashing replacement around chimneys, vents, and skylights
  • Manufacturer warranty plus a written 10-year workmanship warranty

Process

How the job actually runs.

01

Request

Call or fill the free-estimate form. We ask a few questions to make sure we're the right fit before we drive out.

02

Inspect

We walk the property with you, measure, photograph, and talk through options honestly — including options that don't need us.

03

Quote

You get a written, itemized quote with materials, labour, timeline, and payment schedule. No verbal ballparks.

04

Build

Our own crew executes on the days we promised. Clean site every night. You get progress updates, not radio silence.

Pricing

What actually moves the price.

We don't post prices online because every property is different — and honest quotes come from seeing the work. Here's what changes the number.

01Property size and access — a two-storey lakefront is not the same as a bungalow off the highway.
02Material grade — architectural shingles, standing-seam metal, cedar, engineered composites all sit at different price points.
03Existing condition — hidden rot, poor previous work, or code upgrades add scope.
04Season and timeline — winter and rush jobs cost more than something scheduled six weeks out.
Questions

Answered before you ask.

For an average bungalow, one to two days. Two-storey homes and cottages with complex rooflines: three to five days. We only start when we have a clear weather window.

Always. Every eave, valley, and penetration gets a full ice-and-water membrane. Ontario code is a minimum — we go well past it.

Architectural asphalt shingles remain the best value at 25–30 year lifespan. Standing-seam steel lasts 50+ years and costs roughly double up front. We'll walk you through the honest math on both.

Yes. We provide photo documentation, written scope, and material specs the insurer needs. We've worked with every major Canadian carrier.

It's an attic ventilation problem, not just a roof problem. Every quote includes a ventilation review — ridge vent, intake soffit vents, and insulation baffle checks.

Every day. Magnetic sweep of the entire perimeter before we leave. You should not find a single nail after we're gone.
