The brief.
Full master bathroom rebuild in a 1990s Powassan home. Removed tub-shower combo, small vanity, and dated fixtures. Reworked layout for a large walk-in shower and double vanity.

Challenge
The existing bathroom had failed grout, hidden water damage in the subfloor near the toilet flange, and a fan that vented into the attic instead of outside — a classic recipe for mould.
Solution
Full demolition. Replaced 4 sq ft of subfloor. New Schluter Kerdi waterproofing on shower walls and floor. Custom oak vanity with quartz top. Heated tile floor. Proper attic-to-eave vent duct. New rainfall shower and hand-wand fixtures in matte black.
