The brief.
A full lakeside kitchen renovation opening up the kitchen to the dining area and adding a large island oriented toward the lake view.

Challenge
Removing a load-bearing wall to open the space required an engineered LVL beam and full structural coordination. Existing electrical panel was undersized for the appliance upgrade.
Solution
Engineered LVL beam and steel posts hidden in the ceiling and side walls. New 200A electrical service. Custom white oak cabinetry through a local shop. Honed granite counters. Full lighting redesign — recessed general lighting, under-cabinet task, and three pendants over the island.
