Full Roof Replacement — Lakeside Home, North Bay
Roofing · 3 days on site
The brief.
A 2,400 sq ft lakeside home in North Bay with a 27-year-old asphalt roof showing granule loss, curled shingles, and multiple leak points around the chimney and skylight.

What we found. What we did.
The homeowners had two active leaks and one previous patch job that had failed. Attic showed staining across three rafter bays and inadequate ridge venting had led to consistent ice damming.
Full tear-off to the deck. Replaced two sheets of delaminated OSB. Installed ice-and-water shield to 6 feet up from every eave plus full valley and chimney coverage. New 30-year architectural shingles. Full ridge vent installation and soffit vent audit. New chimney and skylight flashing.
What we used.
- IKO Cambridge 30-year architectural shingles
- Grace Ice & Water Shield membrane
- GAF DeckArmor synthetic underlayment
- ShingleVent II ridge vent
- New aluminum step and counter flashing
